You aren’t buying grocery, never understood the $X/hr mentality, a 20hrs experiance could be a boring chore that isn’t worth $2 on the other hand a 5hr experiance could very well be worth 20$, this should be a factor, it isn't a linear relation/graph.

Ponyo wasn’t exactly great by any stretch. Comparing it to Toy Story or Cars would be an insult to Toy Story and Cars. The problem was Miyazaki was getting along in his old/senile ways and he thought Ponyo was amazing, even though almost nobody else did. It’s easily one of the worst films he’s done.
