Since when is RSS dead? I keep seeing Gakwer sites saying this, but without RSS I would never see anything written on a Gawker site.

Yeah, I use it to host my personal landing page.

I'd be interested in seeing this in action. If they make one game that actually interests me for the Kinect then that plus this would be enough to warrant the purchase for me, I think.

Hmm...I think the first time I used the Internet was doing an in-class research project in the 8th grade (in the school's computer lab, of course). We were researching the candidates for the 1996 presidential election (Bill Clinton vs. Bob Dole) for my US History class (this is kind of odd to me now, as I'm a history

I've been having some issues with my current Sense ROM. I think I might finally try out Cyanogen.

Hmm...that is weird. It doesn't sound like the powersupply - at least not the supply itself. It could be something to do with the cable running from the supply to the usb slot, except that wouldn't explain it also doing that with the pci card. My only other thought is that there is some issue with the motherboard.

Excellent tip! If I have something really important to mail or bring with me to work, I usually end up leaving it leaning against the door. This is a bit more elegant and more reliable.

Plant a garden!

Sense is pretty great for the most part. I have a rooted HTC phone and I actually use a custom ROM with Sense integrated. Anyway, I think I'd take a look at carriers above anything else, at the moment.

Most can. Just check.

Bigger heatsink, bigger fan, add extra case fans, etc. I did all three of these things on my old computer when it kept overheating and they worked like a charm.

It sounds like your power supply isn't powerful enough to handle running the computer and also powering the device you are plugging in. Does it do that with a usb stick, or is it specifically things that draw power (cell phone, external hdd, etc)? If it's only doing it with those things then I'd say definitely the

I had heard this rumor, too. I think the operable word here is "expired." I can't see them being able to terminate any services for a non-expired contract.

Yay, happy Friday!

That, too.

I'm still kind of unclear on the state of T-Mobile contracts in the event the AT&T buyout goes through. Would current contracts stay valid after the buyout goes through? Would they be subject to alteration or termination by either party?

I don't think he's racist so much as really stupid.

Agreed. Watto deserves to be on this list more than some of the others. I think she just didn't want to have Lucas on there four times (does Temple of Doom count as a Lucas film?).

You might consider checking out some of his non-fiction stuff. Mere Christianity blew my mind in much the way you're talking about there, though with a far different result.

I love you, SteveDave.
