Excellent tip! If I have something really important to mail or bring with me to work, I usually end up leaving it leaning against the door. This is a bit more elegant and more reliable.

Sense is pretty great for the most part. I have a rooted HTC phone and I actually use a custom ROM with Sense integrated. Anyway, I think I'd take a look at carriers above anything else, at the moment.
