Every new bit of news or pictures for this movie just makes it look more and more terrible, to me. I want to believe it will be good, because Kickass was so...well...kickass. I'm trying to reserve judgement, but...

@NotChoinski: I don't know...I liked the second season for the most part. I thought the Civil War thing was pretty good, too. The only thing I didn't like was the too-quick, too-neatly-wrapped-up series finale, but it was understandable given that the show had only been brought back for half a season.

This article made me pine for two of my favorite cancelled shows: Jericho and T:SCC.

@hungryemo: yeah, that makes sense. I meant no offense to Charlie; I was just surprised because this is the second article I've seen on io9 that mentioned Bane as a relative unknown, and I wouldn't have thought of him as one.

@snarky30: I read that book when I was 11 or 12, too! I was already into Batman due to the cartoon, but I had just started getting into comics and only had Marvel stuff.

@LittleDragon: I second what hdgotham said. I read the novelization, "Batman: Knightfall and Beyond" way back in the 6th grade (like 1995). It was like crack to a nerd who watched Batman: The Animated Series every day after school.

@SpikeRosered: Yeah, they all did a bad job. He's supposed to be very intelligent and self-motivated. All those things you listed just used him as a "GRR...Hulk Smash!" character.

Is Bane really considered to be THAT unknown? Maybe I'm just living in a nerd bubble, but I remember him quite clearly from my childhood. He was even very poorly represented in Batman and Robin.

My MyTouch was slow as crap. So, I bought a Leo on e-bay, rooted it and installed Froyo Stone, and now I blaze around at lightning speeds.

I'm with the Dropbox folks. I'm also pretty sure you can set your phone to automatically save photos to the dropbox folder.

@kschang: huh? I just did it a few minutes ago with my android phone. Works like a charm.

That'd be nice so long as it could actually tell that you were rage-quitting and not getting disconnected. At least once a week, I get a 5 minute ban on Reach because I get lagged out of games (always with a full green connection bar and an Internet connection that gives me ZERO problems with anything else). It'd be

@Superawesomerad: For non-network, at the turn of the century, yeah, it actually was.

@ampersands: I'll have to check that out. Thanks.

@esbaird: Haha...that's a pretty good argument, there. If I can stream it on Netflix, I'll catch up on it this Summer (I'm a teacher, so summers are a good time to catch up on shows).

This is the first thing I've heard that makes me want to see Judge Dredd. Mostly, it makes me want to go back and rewatch SCC.
