Random question: does anyone know the Twitter usernames of Gabe and Tycho from PA? I don't ever, ever use Twitter, but I just created an account and those are the only two people I could think of that I'd give two craps about following; however, a search for them didn't yield anything.

@ReynaldoRiv: Agreed. Married, teaching high school, soon to be a father...I only get in a few hours a month, most months...except for the summer, when I'm off work and binge. I've been playing Oblivion an hour or so at a time since this past summer, for instance.

@walls99: Hmm...that's actually a really good idea. I could totally see that being pretty entertaining.

@stayoutofthecatbox: Could be worse. You could have that game system Philips made and be stuck with those horrible, third-party Zelda titles.

@jersalv1: I'm about like you. I'm 26 and I've been gaming since I got the NES back in 1988 (we were poor, so we got everything late). I intend to still be gaming until I'm physically no longer able to do so, which I hope is when I'm dead.

@walls99: I would want just a generally better search function for all Gawker sites. The search really doesn't work very well, being based only on tags. I guess you could always just use a google search and restrict the search to the particular Gawker domain, but it should be simpler than that.

@Pheermee: The Dual Techs and Triple Techs from Chrono Trigger would have been cool in other Squaresoft games.

@WhiteMåge is in fact a boy, damnit: I bought this recently, but it's fairly far down on my to-play list at the moment. This comment here by you is very helpful, though. I think when I'll play it I'll try to do the same thing, creating classes rather than just optimizing. Thank you.

Hmm...hopefully my newly aquired DS will arrive in the mail today or tomorrow. Should I buy Pokemon for it? I already have a huge list of games for PS1/PS2/PC/DS to go through, and I still haven't beaten Pokemon: Saphire(GBA), which is the only Pokemon game I own (I mean, besides Red for the GBColor).

@shannyfox: I see what you're saying, but the whole point of Zelda (and Nintendo) was to make a game for children. Miyamato based Zelda off of his childhood fantasies he had when playing in the forests near his grandparents' house. His vision in Zelda and in many of Nintendo's other big titles was to make something

It doesn't look all that crazy amazing. I'm a huge, huge Zelda fan, so I wish these were from a real game, but they really don't look that much more amazing than anything from Twilight Princess (which was awesome, don't get me wrong).

@MRxGREEN: You probably have your settings set to only show featured comments. You can change it on your profile page.

@jmhallah: New Super Mario Bros. Wii is pretty much the only game I've ever played with my wife aside from Guitar Hero. We had a blast playing through it.

@whiteflea: Oh, also currently winning Castlevania: Portrait of Ruin (DS), hah!

I have a huge list of games I currently have to play through before I can even contemplate buying another game (unless Star Craft II comes out before I'm finished, in which case that list can go to hell). My current list of games, in the order I'm playing them (all the ones with a * are being played right now):

Hmm...I've always wanted to play Diabl...err...Arcanum. No, seriously, I have. At $5.99, I can't see NOT buying it, even though I've got such a huge list of games to play through right now.

@distaste: Agreed on the not bulky and glowy, but I think the Warrior one looks best. Shaman isn't bad either.

Sometimes I really miss that game...sometimes.

@whiteflea: I should specify that I game in my living room on my gaming rig / htpc, using a bluetooth keyboard and mouse from a good 15' away.
