Okay, so this kind of thing is alright—it's trying to make a point. But this kind of thing has real limits, and I think it can even weaken the very point it's trying to make. Because the underlying premise—which is, essentially, "look what happens when the tables are turned" is flawed for several reasons:

Yeah. "Barely attend his mother's funeral" doesn't even make sense.

I clicked on this link thinking, "That's BULLSHIT, get it together ARMY" only to read that his mom's funeral was in November and he did get to go. So the headline is a little misleading and it doesn't sound too likely that that has to do with the shooting. That comment from his wife is really scary and haunting.

This is only tangentially related, but if there is one person the state of CT should be helping financially, it's the police officer that arrived at the scene that day. The NYTimes story is absolutely heartbreaking. http://www.nytimes.com/2010/02/25/nyr…

That's what I was just thinking. I get catcalling back at catcallers, but this actually makes me feel kinda bad for these guys.

I have always known chimps are the real menaces despite the villifying of beautiful and peaceful gorillas, but man is that chilling what you wrote here! :o

How about trade? You take Justin Bieber, we'll take .. someone from Degrassi.

I feel for this woman's plight, but suing the state seems a bit immoral. Why on earth would the state have any culpability in a case like this? Doesn't make sense to me.

Justin Bieber has been fined $11.5K for skipping a deposition to party in Miami.

I am sure you totally have a lot in common. He likes your youth and you like his...? Its going to be awesome when you are 40 and he is on social security. He can get you senior discount at Burger King.

Wow an SJP horse joke. How fresh and new! *yawn*

LOL except Johnny Depp was married once, when he was like, 18? 20? And then went on to become engaged like, 4 times and never got married, not even to the mother of his children, with whom he spent the last decade. Sorry, Amber, I think the engagement rock on your finger is as far as you go.

The best part was, Billy Joel flat-out said in an interview that it was just stupid. They got married when she was 23 and he was 55. He wanted to stay in and be 60, and she wanted to go out and be 28, so they got divorced. All the houses in the Hamptons can't fix that divide.

Yeah. It must be a clicking = more money thing. If a celebrity is mentioned in the title, I click thinking it is the dirt bag. It usually isn't.

it's the new kinja I think? It doesn't tell the label until you click it. I imagine somehow this translates into more clicks and more money for someone, but it's super annoying.

Body shaming?

So who can tell me why this isn't labeled as "Dirt Bag" on the main page. I took a shot that this would be gossip, but it isn't always, and it is annoying me.

I used to be a huge Johnny Depp fangirl (mostly because I'm also a huge Tim Burton fangirl so the two intersect) and I am now just incredibly... over him. I won't say he "sold out" because that's a stupid nonsense phrase, but it seems like he isn't really that interesting on screen anymore. I think he's stopped trying

Is it possible that she's saying that SJP had an egg donor?

What's wrong with spin class, a shower and skinny jeans? I've never been to a spin class — does it make legs ... undressable?
