There ain’t no protecting Pence in this mess.

Yes, I am well aware of that. President Trump, however, was not.

They are stoking the fire so they can pull a 25th amendment ousting. Because they know if Mueller gets to the end of the investigation it will take down a bunch of other GOP people with him (even Pence) and will make the GOP go on record with their stance on impeachment, which will anger the base.

He literally cannot comprehend that other people have priorities that are not him. He’s so annoyed that they won’t just make things easier for him because he wants it. He has absolutely no conception of how anything works on any level. He’s literally Bobby Newport.

I am CHEERING for those staffers who are trying to save the country by bringing him down, by way of leaking like a fucking colander. Keep draining, folks!

God bless the leakers, the only ones doing their jobs.

No, he looks terrible. He’s all bravado and no substance. He offered nothing to the individuals he was dealing with, yet wanted them to throw him a bone. It’s especially galling in the case of Mexico as he insulted the country repeatedly for political gain. His whole persona is that of the swaggering, tough guy with

I would like to believe these leaks are coming from a Pence associate who wants his guy to move up a rung on the ladder. I have to imagine the christian dominionists are frothing at the mouth over how close they are to the highest position of power in the land.

That’s disgusting and pathetic. People I know in the business world would see that kind of tactic as a sad joke and eat that person alive. No pity in the real business world, especially the business world of the 80's where Trump was apparently so successful.

His not so humble beginnings to his empire was built on a huge infusion of cash from his father and access to all of his father’s real estate business contacts. Add in the fact that literally anyone who happened to own or acquire property in NYC back in the 70's or early 80's and still have it today is technically a

Reading him basically begging Nieto makes me laugh. He’s clearly not the shrewd negotiator he tries to portray.

“I won New Hampshire because New Hampshire is a drug-infested den.”

That strategy is terrible, and it makes the people that use it look terrible. And when your entire public persona is that of the big tough guy that makes big tough deals, this is a terrible look.

He also doesn’t seem to realize that by being such an asshole the entire campaign/presidency (also his entire life, of course) he’s made it politically advantageous for Pena Nieto to loudly and publicly rebuff him.

“Does he know that Cubans aren’t Mexicans??” Ummm...no.

A friend of a friend is a Republican staffer who works in the White House. Apparently, Trump genuinely believed (and refused to believe staffers when they told him it wasn’t true) that Mexico is in South America.

“hey if you have anything, anything at all for me that would be great.”

Yeah, that may work out as far as getting a sales lead or two, but these are world leaders. You can’t use pathetic whining to get world leaders to give you everything you want because they feel bad for you, particularly when they’re well aware

I do not know if you heard, but with Cuba, I had 84 percent, with the Cuban-American vote. But overall generally, I had well over 30 percent and everyone was shocked to see this. I understand the community and they understand me, and I have a great respect for the Mexican people.”

In the same vein, he keeps whining to both these other leaders about how bad everything will make him look, like that’s what, their problem? Especially in the case of Peña Nieto, I can’t imagine a person on earth with more right to be uninterested in Trump’s self-made image problem.
