As a minimalist, food is an excellent gift option for me.  I love to be gifted things I can consume, especially things I wouldn’t treat myself to like fancy coffees or expensive chocolates.  Wine is also well received by me!

We always hit up free breakfast, even if the only palatable offering is an orange and a prepackaged muffin.

Can confirm. I’m a vegetarian and depending on where I’m at (especially on a road trip), I’ve eaten many a fast food salad. The only two things at McDonalds I’ll eat are the salads and yogurt parfaits.

I nearly submitted my name then opted not to once I took a look at the site and realized there was not one dress I would want to wear. There was no fine print. My assumption was once the number of dresses they were giving away ran out, they would shut down the form with a generic message. I wouldn’t sue, obviously, as

I visited &pizza for the first time in while in DC last summer.  They have a super fun pop machine selection!  Good for them for giving their employees this opportunity.

Bless you and your kind heart and compassion!  Thanks for sharing the kitties with us.

Thanks for the information! I think it may be time for me to go back to the old standard drip maker. Kcups are super convenient for me because I’m a one cup a day drinker and my spouse doesn’t touch the stuff.

I used to exclusively buy recyclable kcups, but my local recycling plant stopped accepting them.  I’m very limited on the types of plastic I can recycle. It’s pretty much only bottles with screw top lids now.

What is fluff ice?  It looks super good!  Like a cross between italian ice and a snow cone?

No offense, but I don’t think Trump needs any help looking bad...

I would for sure eat that.

A few years ago, Wendy’s was test marketing a black bean burger on their menu in a few select places. I wasn’t anywhere near the cities it was available in, but I would have loved to try it. I hope they can introduce something like that for vegetarians (like me!) and flexitarians (like my spouse!).

I was going to comment this, too. It’s by far my favorite for any homemade pizzas I make (or to dip roni rolls in) and it’s priced at less than $2 per jar!

We have something similar in the Pittsburgh area called 412 Food Rescue.

I also once licked a deer salt lick.

You are the best for what you do for these sweet babies AND for sharing them with us. This is exactly what I needed this morning.

I once bought a bottle of local (I think) hot sauce in St Maarten.  To this day, I’m still figuring out what it was called and how I can get more.

Thank you for sharing these beautiful little souls with us every week. You, too, clearly have a beautiful soul as well.  Thanks for making my Sunday mornings a little brighter!

Yay for Bruce!! I’m so, so pleased for him. I can’t wait until I hear how he is getting along.

Thankful for your updates.  I love how much you love those sweet babies!  Bummer about Sam and Dean being returned.. I hope they find a good home soon. And I will forever wonder how Bruce still manages to get passed over.
