TBH, I would drive the 4 hours to Montreal to watch the Red Sox before I would drive the 2 hours to see them at Fenway. Nicer city with better food, less traffic, and the stadium seats will be larger than a paint can lid.

A 2018 Volvo S90 T5 AWD can be had for around the $30K price, lightly used. AWD, decent gas mileage, and with only a turbo on the T5 (T6's have turbo and supercharger), maintenance should be reasonable.
