One big issue is that a lot of insurance is from nonprofits, and it doesn’t seem to change much. At the end of the day, people should know they live in Florida and there’s a cost to that.
Another issue I’ve found with trying to shop any sort of pre-owned is how little the sellers know about the basic nomenclature of the items they’re selling. This seems to be worst in menswear, as vintage selling seems to be a womens’ game and they think anything more formal or older than a suit is a “tuxedo.”
