something to keep an eye on, and/or to lord over Nick Saban

Of course a dumb fucking liberal bankrupt site like deadspin would run with this. Embarrassing

This is easily one of the dumbest pieces I’ve ever read on this site, especially regarding this sport. And that’s saying a lot because there have been a lot of dumb articles about soccer/football.

By this logic, I’ve given the Nazi salute at least 10,000 times in my life. I am ashamed of myself.

Especially lazy is using another soccer player’s actually racist photo to make Hennessey also guilty...because they play the same sport?

Seriously, though, dude was probably just waving and calling, and the photos of him doing exactly the same thing on the field strike me as pretty convincing proof. The headline’s claim that ‘I was waving and calling across a boisterous crowded room’ are “unbelievable circumstances” is... well, unbelievable itself.

Yup, definitely a Nazi if I ever saw one ... fuck outta here with this bullshit. Dragging this man’s life through the mud based on one blurry picture. Go look at his Instagram and Twitter feeds. In addition to the multiple pictures of him enjoying himself with his black teammates, he also has posts of the 2 Chainz and

I’m with you. I legitimately think he just got caught at a bad moment. No reason not to give the guy the benefit of the doubt unless he’s said and/or done other racist things in the past.

Right? Man photographed doing a thing that he has done before in other settings but never in the setting in the photograph. Doing this thing could mean a bad thing, but also other not bad things. He says it was one of these other not bad things. People of the internet say it means the bad thing.

It’s the internet.

I honestly would not assume it was the Nazi salute on seeing that still shot. I know its unpopular on the internet, but people really ought to try giving a little grace to others now and then and not automatically assume they are doing the worst possible thing.

I feel for this guy. Once I was accused of making the old limp-wrist-gay-gesture when I was just trying to walk like an Egyptian.

Remind me to never raise my arm again for any reason. But, you are right, that guy is probably a fucking Nazi.

This is specious at best. What a lazy post.

“She’s a fan and she said the guy was her least favorite player on twitter.”

Her second tweet at him was also sexist, for what it’s worth.

While Bauer is a POS and terrible at comebacks, she kind of started the war of words, didn’t she?

Bauer “tweets like a 16 year girl on her period”? Deadspin, hire this woman!

Wait. This is harassment? I thought this was just normal internet nonsense? Don’t people normally just stop responding when others act like assholes?  It’s not as though she is a captive audience.  If you don’t like the music, change the station.

That’s not how harassing someone works. You can’t start a beef by calling someone your ‘least favourite player’, followed by ‘that won’t get you a ring’ and question his manhood (“...that a “man” with so much talent...) and act like a harassment victim when he dares to answer. Tagging someone is also not harassment.

lmao this looks like a dumb twitter back-and-forth, not harassment.

Since we’re that-guying, a) the exact quote was “he’s the best QB in the history of the Ravens,” not “the franchise,” and anyway b) they quite famously left their name, colors, and history on the side of the road as they peeled out of Cleveland:
