@Oneshot417: My new EEE 1000HE has a special partition that caches Windows boot files which makes startup for Windows really quick, but does not support any other OS. Check your BIOS, there might be a setting.

Want a more responsive awesomebar but don't want to give up your history?

Let me know when they get imap support.

Ghah. Still doesn't work for me. I really want this functionality.

@Audiyoda: Completely agree. Pitting Final Cut Pro and Premiere Pro against Windows Movie Maker and iMovie is not a valid comparison.

Well that blew my mind

@LessIsMore: I was wondering the same thing

I just zip up my profile folder and take that with me. Never had a problem. Is there a reason this might be problematic?

@SanjulaCushy: I actually use TightVNC in Wine because Vinagre doesn't do scaling. It's set to get it in the future.

VOTE: 7-Zip (windows) (zip for portability)

VOTE: Vuze (Azureus)

This sounds like the "recommended playlist" option in Amarok that uses MusicBrainz to find relationships and generate playlists on the fly.
