And just to add - the coup and convertible version at least in the C-class is the same car structurally. They have a lot of added metal in the sides to stiffen them up since one doesn’t have a roof. Unfortunately the non-convertible coupe suffers the same fate if it needs the added rigidity or not because no way in…

Ever think the real reason for getting out of the treaty is that it’s simply an out dated way for us to gather information if we can just leverage satellites with better resolution? I was going to say the same thing. Nope. The 4 people I knew with late 90's and early 00's with Jettas did 15 years ago. Every single one had electrical problems and one blew a motor at 90K. Later on in life I found out my fiance had one too and the windows fell out of the tracks along with various other issues.

They deserve it for every POS jetta they pumped out in the 90's and early 00's. Every single person I knew with one had major electrical problems (locks, windows, lights, you name it). They always ran, just always had shit broken.
