I love that despite his nerves about being out in the field, Fitz was still logical, calm and collected as a field agent. Sometimes the show can surprise us.

Y'know can we not have bi-Fitz? It would mean all this legwork with Simmons can pan out while the Fitzward ship is still possible.
I commiserate with you. It's not fun having the minority opinion of the show on AV Club (I'm experiencing similar things with Homeland this season). I've enjoyed 1x04, 1x06 and 1x07 and am hopeful about the show's prospects but it's hard to get a positive discussion going on the episode itself. Negative comments are…
We're in the Marvel Universe where people are born super-geniuses. Skye's allowed to have insanely good hacking skills that make her worth keeping around. Plus, Coulson has a soft spot for her and the autonomy to keep her around.
It was kinda hilarious to see Carrie tell the loose cannon agent to calm down. A bit of a "Now I know how Saul feels" moment.
By this point, I fully expect Sava to start talking about the adventures of Cora and Jenny in the Spirit World or Marco and Ashanti in Republican City.
Ahh okay. My primary experience is with the GG reviews but I had a feeling it wouldn't make much of a difference regardless. It's a sad choice to have to make although I understand the reasons behind it.
Why don't the TVCC reviews have spoiler policies that enable first time viewers to follow along? A minimally spoilery review, a spoiler section plus a spoiler thread in the comments would go a long way to expanding its audience. Most AV readers want to experience a show spoiler-free so the current Gilmore Girls…
If TV Club Classic generally has such poor readership, then why didn't these reviews have a spoiler policy that would open up the reviews to someone besides diehard fans? The reviews could have been written with minimal spoilers/hints toward the future, had a section for spoilery reviewer comments and then a specific…
I googled and realised that we did end up with a Troy/Shirley storyline in Season 4 with the Physical Education Education class in Economics of Marine Biology. I don't think for a second that Harmon would have hesitated to do a Troy/Shirley storyline if a decent one presented itself. I think the absence of one is more…
Gregg definitely works better in the films where his understated sarcasm undercuts the over-the-top presence of superheroes. In the context of the show, his voice never quite imbues quips with the right tone.
Did we ever get that Shirley/Troy story?
It's difficult to tell if it's just vaguely age-compatible hot people or a deliberate attempt on the part of the writers. It's also one of the first times they've nailed decent dialogue/chemistry on the show which might be why it stands out so much.
I really wished they stopped beating us over the head with that. This episode would have been the better for it if it was only the third time they'd brought it up rather than arc-wording Tahiti fucking everywhere.
This episode very much gelled the series emotionally for me and sold me on Fitz/Simmons (outside of surface British cuteness) and how their relationship worked. I wish Sava had focused more on the actual content of the episode than the structural problems that have already been discussed at length.
No she'll find out that she's actually a bodyswapped robot version of herself with screwy body chemistry that makes pregnancy tests positive.
There's really no way this is the last we see of Dana. It's clearly setting up a new storyline for her, although god knows what it's going to be.
Unless Brody's been FedExing semen samples.
The stomach wound she immediately started lying down on while chatting to the other girls…
"Also, how do portals work?"
