Zipcar is cheaper for short rentals: If, for instance, I only need to pick up something across town and my trip only takes 45-90 minutes, Zipcar will only cost me $15-20 all inclusive. Best part is I can reserve online and the check in/out process takes less than a minute.

So we're just going to ignore the white Challenger/Vanishing Point reference?

Red Bull has Kinky Kylie, Audi has Lazarus.

As a lifelong SF resident, if this is what you people consider "gentrification" then I'm glad they gentrified the fuck out of these places and I hope they do more of it. A lot of these were shady areas you did not want to travel to at night or even during the day.

Clearly you have not driven a Baja SAE car.

I hope to win the "Least number of times stolen" award at the 2040 Pebble Beach Concourse with my GS-R sedan. It sort of helps that it looks like ass and is unmodified.

I find that 3" of filth, slight body damage, a faulty brake master cylinder, and no ICE whatsoever keeps mine from being stolen. Oh, and a kill switch.

You foRgot those owneRs who capitalize the letteR R on message boaRds because they'Re so type R.

Yes. A lot of print ads from the '90s list "standard" or no-cost air-conditioning as a feature on par with power windows and a DOHC engine.

Slicks for mad doriftos.

Baja SAE car. Want to swap the engine? You have to cut a frame rail, replace the engine, and then weld it back on.

You have to remember that China is Communist unless you have suitcases of cash and powerful friends. Then it's open season.

My guess is that the people reporting are the sort who beat the living shit out of the cars and then bitch when their drivetrain/suspension grenades after a dozen hard ham-fisted launches.

No updates - it's the current Nismo 370Z (better exhaust, stiffer chassis, upgraded suspension and brakes, and lighter wheels) with revised aero.

The press release was worded pretty badly.

The Nismo 370Z already does all that: extra HP over the Sports model, chassis stiffening, bigger brakes, lighter wheels and exhaust, and "better" aero.

I saw the eBay ad when it was up and I was actually tempted to bid on it when I saw the transmission. Freaking steal!

NO CLUTCH, NO MANUAL.

There's lots of rich guys with one-offs in Hong Kong - at the very least there'll be some nice eye candy.

It wasn't mine, but it did haul pretty nicely, though.
