Yes, this seems like a pretty straightforward telling of the Bundy story and his relationship. It’s gross and uncomfortable because that’s who he was and that’s how the story played out.

IMO, as someone that loves these games, the story is straight-up, melodramatic gobbledygook. You can find a summary on youtube or read a wiki blurb, but I would hardly call it necessary or required to enjoy an Ace Combat game.
