I was fine with ARK being rough. It was like 2 years ahead of its time in graphics and technical capabilities (people don’t appreciate what a nightmare these type of games are for network backend stuff and ARK did quite a few clever tricks, in the end at least, to make it work mostly well for this time period.)

Sure, for ARK that was perfectly okay, especially since they basically quadrupled, if not more, what they originally promised for free. But this is using the EXACT same engine, flaws and all and yet it is basically launching like ARK did but worse in some ways.
