Dimensioned like a crossover, but with the ground clearance of a sedan? My man, that’s a wagon.

Isn’t Apple sitting on enough cash to basically buy any two automakers if it really wanted to?

As noted early in the post, Tesla already has a giant battery in Australia, and I haven’t seen any reports that it isn’t doing exactly what was expected. I don’t think anybody cares about panel gaps on battery cases.

I mean, the giant grid scale Tesla battery in Australia is HUGELY successful, but, we’re going to ignore that because why?

1st: While Tesla deserves some skepticism as long as the CEO is a Twitter troll instead of an adult, in this particular case they’re not doing anything terribly wild. The utility industry is interested in batteries to replace “peaker” plants, which are powered by natural gas and only fire up in times of high demand,

I don’t care if some people get stuck with Model Xs with malfunctioning doors, or Model 3s defeated by rain, or whatever other little problems crop up in Tesla cars. I just don’t know if I want that kind of operation involved in power grids.

I don’t get this website anymore.... I’m just here mostly for the commenters I like these days.

“The Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) and Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) were deleted. Usually this is done so there are fewer parts to break, but this is often illegal to do.”

Naysayers of modern diesel engines, look no further than this truck for proof that you can still hit great miles without an old timey diesel engine.”

Stay in school, everybody.
I can think several other illegal things, that are far more likely.

Well, this is the dumbest thing I’ve seen on the internet today.

Insurance fraud exists. In the universe of things this could have been, it ranks pretty fucking low. As in, of all the possible things you could irresponsibly speculate about it being, that makes no sense.

I hate to break it to you, but no one is going to attempt insurance fraud this way. Insurance fraud doesn’t usually include obviously illegal activity like 27 people crammed into a single SUV playing roulette to see who dies and who lives.

That is a remarkably stupid idea.

This. It’s every bit as likely (probably more likely) that these were farm workers being driven to the next farm.

The plane would have been within range of a landing site for the entire trip, as required by law, and a single engine has enough power for a safe takeoff and a stable climb.

Unpopular take: vans are the vehicle that most truck buyers should get.

Yep, because I’m sure you look so cool in your Traverse.

Finally a good critical article of Tesla without a mention of “tEsLa StAnS” lol
