They can't renegotiate the contract? All the other channels stream their content. There are HULU and Netflix deals with current and past seasons on other big cable channels. I always thought it was more HBO wanting to keep their content at a perceived premium rather than cable companies holding them back.

Let people who do not already have cable subscribe to HBO Go- problem will be cut significantly.
