Damn, you sound so cool. Don’t worry, I said I’d spend more time on Gamespot. I’ll still drop by here to catch anything they might miss and trigger some snowflakes while I’m at it :)

Be sure to dismiss Jman40513. He’s a known troll who stalks anyone who has ever hurt his feelings and then calls them racist sexist bigots and orders you to dismiss them every time they post.
Actually, you’re a known troll who posts this same comment on every fucking article.
Damn. Well I just took a look at Gamespot and N4G’s front pages, and wow, it’s all about video games! Guess I’ll just be spending a lot more time there instead.
Is there a way to filter out certain writers on this site?
I snagged this brand new for $40 from a GameStop back in December...never quite figured out why they had such a great deal.

And Attack on Titan had an all Japanese cast even though its characters were supposed to be from all different countries. Yeah it was mildly annoying (READ: NOT RACIST), but you gotta do what you gotta to make your movie successful in the target country.
Disagree. This isn’t just talking, this isn’t as insignificant as “Snape has eggs”, this is a title and screenshot that gives away a really amusing and interesting part of a brand new game. Kotaku is usually much better about this, as seen in their coverage of games like Witcher 3.
Exactly this. While I don’t expect all the writers on this site to be one homogenous mass of opinion or style, it would be nice if a video game site stuck to talking about video games, rather than pulling stunts like giving non-political shooters like Ghost Recon bad reviews for promoting “jingoistic propaganda.”
I completely agree with you, it’s really brutally intense, exciting, immersive fun, and the voice-acting for some of the death screams is positively chilling. The interviewer on the other hand has a problem with making war games “cool and fun” in any way (THAT’S A DIRECT QUOTE, “COOL AND FUN” GAMES ARE BAD TO THESE…
Certain writers on this site are in denial of the fact that they’re supposed to be video game journalists, so it’s no surprise that avoiding spoilers comes second to promoting their social agenda. Your unspoiled enjoyment of a game is an acceptable casualty to them.
I had to do a double-take because this kind of down-to-earth common sense is so out of place in this virtue-signaling orgy.
I suspect they’ve learned from GTAV’s popularity on PC and will port this. Hopefully not years later this time around..
You’re forgetting one vital factor: this is a game, and games first and foremost, multiplayer games in particular, have to be fun and make money, not be depressing and make you feel disgusted and not want to to continue playing.
But what you’re describing is exactly the “problem” the interviewer has with the game: it’s fun and exciting. And this interviewer is very against the idea of fun, because this is a war game so it’s not allowed to be fun.
Go easy on them, they just want to play at being “hard-hitting videogame journalists” even if it means grilling someone on why they made the controversial decision to make their game fun.
Seriously lol wtf was this? He’s pressing the poor guy to explain why they made the multiplayer fun???? Between this and listing a “jingoistic message” as a major flaw of Ghost Recon, this site is somehow managing to hit a new low.
Not good enough. He should resign. /s
While we’re at it, why aren’t you also bitching about Genji’s bedouin costume? Or Junkrat’s “Junkenstein” costume? Even the name alone is appropriation and Germanic name stereotyping all in one! How about Mei’s eskimo skin?! HOW ARE WE NOT OUTRAGED?
