I think you’re right. While Pence has been a reliable mouthpiece for Trump he’s a blackhole of charisma. He’s not bringing in any undecideds and he’s not generating enough enthusiasm to get people who would ordinarily skip voting to the polls. Whether or not our idiot president gets re-elected will have nothing to do…

I’m of the opinion that Trump won despite Pence, not because of him. And if (when?) Trump makes the switch to another running mate, I think it increases his odds of winning in 2020. Pence was getting run out of Indiana before he luck-boxed his way into Vice President.
