The press conference, though brief, was a powerful reminder just why Trump is so dead set on attacking these four women of color. They’re everything he is not: Smart, articulate, deeply empathetic, and above all, committed to making America a better place for everyone.

I admire these ladies for speaking out...but I’m also seriously scared for them because someone is going to seriously do some harm because of what 45 said.

Great. Now let’s see how the media “reports” this press conference. Will they share the content and beautiful message / counter-message the Congresswomen shared? Not likely. They will probably distort the spirit of it and only choose to showcase portions of quotes that serve to rev-up the “battle” with Trump instead…

I have a one year old daughter and these four women are the main reason I have some hope that I didn’t make a horrible mistake bringing her into this world.

It’s not even clear that the bullets were the cause of death. Lots of those kids died from blood loss, organ failure, and other kinds of trauma. Blaming it on a couple ounces of high-velocity lead recently passing through them is hasty and unreasonable.

It’s been the case for years, especially after Sandy Hook. If 5-year-olds getting shot didn’t budge them, nothing would.

Disingenuous argument is disingenuous.

Not all of those kids died with bullets in them. If this author even pretended to know about guns, he’d know that some bullets pass right through the victim. Also I’m sure shot and other pellets led to some of those deaths. If he can’t even get this detail right, how can he know the right way to control guns. And…

Gun nuts don’t give a fuck about kids, that’s what school shootings have taught us. Most Americans might disagree, but the gun nuts are winning.
