All the kids in the family would fight over the chance to look over the catalog, every year. It was a huge deal from my childhood, along with the annual showing of the Wizard of Oz. It does make a difference if you have to wait, versus being able to watch anything at any time. That thrill of anticipation.

Huge part of my childhood too. I used to pour over the catalog every year and make my wish list. Those catalogs were like a wonderland to a kid like me.

I don’t think he’s tweeted (yet), but the video of him is rather disturbing. I should think any human capable of feeling would find it disturbing as well. Nightmare times.

I’m seeing shoes off (& sometimes 1 sock as well) in many of the pics. (I have a close friend in London I’ve not been able to reach, though I’m telling myself he’s fine.) including one of the attackers, btw. I don’t know. It just struck me as puzzling.
