Saw Hidden Figures earlier today and loved it. I’d get queasy at the institutionalized casual racism depicted in the movie, but even with that feeling it was the best movie I’ve seen in a long while.

It’s worth underscoring that Putin was offering Cheetolini a gift, a chance to call himself a statesman with something to back it up except delusion, and he was too damn stupid to realize it.

I think he thought that he’d finally be respected by people. He seems to set great store by respect, but I’m guessing few people ever truly respected him, and that number goes down by the second. I can’t think of anyone less deserving of respect, or more deserving of contempt.

As I was marching in Boston, I was flabbergasted to notice a drum and fife band in revolutionary dress also marching. Full of win.
