I don’t understand why she didn’t burst into flames.
I don’t understand why she didn’t burst into flames.
DeVos bought Toomey, pretty cheaply too.
Is there any line these fuckers won’t cross? Not a rhetorical question.
We have the best words.
One of the many admirable things about these protests has been the high quality signage. :-)
Paranoia and nuclear codes are not an ideal combination.
I would further recommend Henry Wallace’s writings about fascism. And, as difficult as it is to get through, watching Triumph of the Will. It’s horrifying, but the crowd scenes are especially so, and a line can be drawn to what we saw last summer with Cheetolini’s crowds.
Thing is, Cheetolini is so awful it’s easy to forget that the whole problem includes the whole republican party. Think about it. We had 8 decent ish yrs with Clinton, a grown-up, if a bit of a sleaze. Then 8 horrible years with Bush, war criminal & incompetent. At that point, repubs should have said, wow, we so bad,…
I wish we didn’t have to endure the in-between phase though... especially since a) our standing will be greatly diminished in the world and b) we won’t all survive this and c) they can do enormous damage by taking a wrecking ball to regulations and our environment.
Well, they’re holdovers from the previous occupants and can’t be trusted.
Was already crying. Haven’t laughed four months.
You miss the point, the real villain is the judge who stayed Cheetolini’s insane executive order.
Huh. According to Wikipedia there is a protest verse that even references a “great big wall.” Haha.
Thanks. :-) I’m hoping people do take notice of what she did, good for her.
I think “This Land Is Your Land” was quite a statement in and of itself. The song has tremendous roots as a protest song, and remember that Guthrie and Trump sr were not friends. At all. Well played, very well played.
Same.
This New Englander is rooting for the Falcons. Anything the so-called president is for, I am reflexively against.
Which is interesting, since a lot of republican voters are poor people who, let us fervently hope, use birth control.
There were a lot of rallies yesterday, I think? I know Boston had one. I’m prepared to rally or march or protest every weekend if that is what it takes.
Listen, not to sound too sappy, but everything, everything counts. Let’s keep it up.
