I really hope we see some statistics during the beta about how many times/when the dog was killed. I imagine most people will shoot it out of curiosity to see if it can actually die. Then people will stop doing it near the end because most people aren't douchebags.

I think the general consensus is that Scott Snyder is writing him well, and it’s a fun arc, but Bruce Wayne as Batman is probably coming back in #50 so this story really doesn’t matter and will be forgettable.
