Again, if you'd read my point you'd see that I don't think the ratings or viewership ever actually mattered much to NBC. This is a producer whose annoyed their show was cancelled and that's a tragedy for sure, but Hannibal existed for three seasons only because its ratings didn't really matter. It filled a slot for

Hannibal’s average ratings per episode each season:
Season 1: 2.90 mil viewers
Season 2: 2.54 mil viewers
Season 3: 1.31 mil viewers

No it wouldn't have. Hannibal being cancelled had less to do with ratings and more to do with a changing of the guard at NBC. The show's ratings always sucked and it was only kept around because NBC's chief executive saw the value in the critical acclaim the show received and because quite frankly NBC then was a shit

So your point is that both of these shows are boring as fuck and pointless wastes of time? I AGREE.

No it's not.

Don't pee on the rug, Dude.

Visuals and world-building are not as important as coherent storytelling and interesting characters. That's a director's job too.

What's really crazy is none of this rape stuff isn't in the books.

A thoughtful Trek film directed by Justin Lin…with Motocross.

"The majority of the fans liked it" is not exactly a rousing argument against a films' critics. A majority of Germans liked the Third Reich too. And yes, I just brought Hitler and Nazis into this discussion. I win the Internet.

I laughed out loud when they cut away, because not using the scene you speak of as the cliffhanger is an either incredibly poor choice of cliffhangering or its the showrunner Gimple trolling everyone who has read the comic (so obviously its both of those things). If you're going to circle back once again and just

Where's North Korea when you need them?

Jason got along with the crew? He got along great with his line producer (who has Jason as his boss) and his two hand-picked lead actors. Otherwise he was pissing of people left and right with his frustration that he couldn't have his way exactly as it existed in his fantasy version of reality.

Right, and whose fault was that? Jason. He undermined the production with his insistence on making it all about him the entire time.

Damon comes off as a bit of an asshole in this, so I wouldn't hold that against her. But regardless, both he and Affleck repeatedly insert themselves into the situation (for the sake of reality TV drama) and create unneeded tension.

I think Lori anticipated having the baby in the section of the prison not overrun by zombies. The timing was unfortunate (and cliche), but I don't think modern medicine would have provided much protection from the walkers anyway, unless "modern medicine" is slang for a shotgun and endless ammo.

Yeah, no has ever successfully given birth without modern medicine.

It sucks that this show's time constraints are so extreme that they couldn't have explained that moment in a tiny bit of detail, because that moment FUCKING DESERVES SOME DETAIL. Jesus, way to be tone-deaf to a industry tragedy.

She literally reiterates for the third time in the series at the very beginning of this episode, that she knows people view her negatively BECAUSE that's her job, dropping the hammer. Amazing that people have dissected her character but haven't actually paid attention to her copping to her difficult role in this.

You'd be better off just dropping it. You have no idea how these things work on a film set and neither do I, and the way this is editted leaves all sorts of questions about what the context for any of this is. But please go on about her "Succubus" ways, because that's not remotely sexist.
