All this overheated anti-abortion rhetoric absolutely has the potential to inspire unbalanced nutjobs like Dear. The anti-choice movement needs to stop behaving like it doesn’t, and that it isn’t responsible for what happens.

Yes. In uniform you do not have speech rights as you are a representative of the government and that would be an implied endorsement of a political statement by the government.

Fair enough. That said, the difference between VT's African-American incarceration rate and the national rate is literally 94 people. There are only 6,300 black people in Vermont - it appears that approximately 238 of them are incarcerated. At the national rate, 143 of them would be.
