I didn't get that either.  I thought Don might not be a fan of sex in marriage as he is outside of it and Meghan obviously noted that.

Great ears.  It's all about the ears with that girl.

Sure, but that wouldn't negate reading a bit of plot synopsis prior to doing that.

Doomed to be awesome?

SPOILER ALERT: Widespread heroine addiction leads the employees of SCDP to ruin and, in one case, being forced to perform an ass-to-ass sex scene in front of scheezy business men.

How could a series that lasted 100 + hours and had tons of plot twists boil down to that?  Having never seen the show, the reaction to the ending have convinced me I made the right decision to never start watching.

Tell her to start reading books from the midpoint without trying to find a summary of the chapters she skipped.

"My father is gay," is the best line that comes from George protesting his heterosexuality, but you are correct on the general observation.

I would place New Yorker cartoons in the same category as NPR humor; you might smirk in amusement but you you will never actually laugh.  Not surprisingly, Kramer's 'my wife is a slut' would have made for the funniest actual cartoon.
