He has sort of redeemed himself after a terrible run at SNL. I don't like it enough to do more than watch the occasional clip, but he really is better than the other 'talent' mentioned.

Why would something replace Community? Is it struggling with ratings or something?
NBC is responsible for all the wars in the world?
I only say it is "TOO SOON" because if memories of the Clinton presidency and much of Obama's tenure should have taught us anything, it is that there might be a convoluted conspiracy theory to spin out first. WE STILL DON'T KNOW WHO KILLED VINCE FOSTER!
It really does wrap up the themes of an over-bearing mother and hideous mutations in one convenient piece.
Put that way, I think you got it right, Malleable Malcontent. I think Guilermo Del Torro has some of the same ideas, but Jackson does apply them pretty consistently through out all of his films. Good call.
It's bro-tacular.
It does have a lengthy scene where the characters bond over a discussion of Thomas Mann, but it doesn't really address the more problematic sexuality in that story.
I suppose that was the 'satirical' jab it was taking, but it is neither a deep point nor one that helps sell the movie either. Really, the movie didn't need a deeper subtext when it was just that much fun.
The shock-factor of the fact that it is puppets you are seeing wears off pretty quickly, but it is a funny story of lots sleazy characters. And I would second @avclub-de9240f5c623bf031dcf0fca9770db44:disqus in noting that you will never hear sodomy used in rhyming schemes as many times as in the sodomy song.
Even if it seems obvious now *SPOILER* the rabbit getting shot after getting a clean bill of health is always hysterical.
I like Jackson's work as a director of big budget films because he simply has a great eye for epic set pieces. Apart from that though, he doesn't have any idiosyncrasies that define his style apart from the fact that he is better at big-budget epics than his peers. That isn't an insult to him, but he certainly had a…
Apart from the sheep getting blown up by the stray rocket in Bad Taste, the lawnmower is my favorite scene in a Jackson movie.
I believe the cut out the entire lawn-mower scene. Tragic.
If you started at the beginning of the season (the episodes are on FX's website if I'm not mistaken), you would catch on pretty quickly. It doesn't have too many story threads from the second season and you will catch on to the developments in characters fairly easily. That said, season 2 is awesome and you really…
Both are talented singers but sing terrible songs!*
Only "Run to You (Just Kidding)" got a smirk out of me.
Is he always that sleazy looking?
Better that than indulging his other habit in every scene.
I think they might, as Boyd threatened he might, get sick of using him as a bank and Limehouse knowing what all of them are up to. Limehouse's leverage is that he is holding their money; if it gets out that he effectively stole from the Bennets, they might withdraw or take their money by force. It took a very odd…
