Singles was good because it had a giddiness that young people do have. Even Gen X youth.

I picked up Douglas Coupland’s Generation X for the first time since I was a teenager. It seemed so witty then, and now I want to punch everyone’s pithy asses through a postered wall before I even hit chapter 2.

Also, he almost killed her very kind new boyfriend. Literally, almost committed manslaughter.

YES. I thought she was the worst as a kid.

I mentioned in a comment somewhere above:

Winnie Holzman, the writer, said later she planned that Graham would have the affair, that Patty would find out, that they would separate, that PAtty would be overwhelmed and break, finally (fairly!) and that Angela would end up supporting her mother, emotionally, and seeing her side.

I feel like that was Gill’s point. He had hints that Walter was bad, but he gave you enough to sympathise. And then when you were invested in th character he reminded you about the horrible, and you should question your loyalty.

The bear in the pool was from the plane collision. That was a bear that belonged to a child killed on the flight that exploded and rained schrapnel down on the houses. :/

YES. THis was clear from Episode 2 when he rejects a job offer that includes medical—a very honourable way out. I thought it would be clear to anyone after that that the writers were showing him to be an emotional brat, but fanboys on the internet proved me wrong.

Do you...do you think that’s it’s justa crazy Japanese thing to forbid filming people without their permission?

Doctor Who is HUGE in terms of its impact....I don’t necessarily agree with their payment scheme, but Doctor Who fans are crazy loyal, and any former doctor joining a cast WILL carry fans over.

Fuck that sympathy.
According to witnesses, the crew didn’t know there was a dog in there. If the passenger didn’t bother to tell, I have to assume the passenger was ignorant as shit and has no business being in charge of a living thing.

^^^Approves^^^

No I am talking about the video where she seems to think people regular people in real life—midflight— will want her to come on the intercom and annoy them just because she is a person in movies.

You haven’t seen her thirsty-ass airplane announcement, I take it.

“Begging for attention” doesn’t even begin to describe it.

So because you heard of it a “WHILE” ago, it’s not fucked up.

...Goddamnit... I would, still.

Despite constant criticism of her voice, she basically always sings live.

Carole Radziwill— daughter-in law of Lee Radziwill and best friend of the late Carolyn Bessette Kennedy....I don’t watch the show but this is SO WEIRD TO ME.
