Exactly this. Men can be so conditioned to the whole “well, wife/mother/whoever will tell me to do it if it needs doing” that they become completely oblivious to the layers of dust or the overflowing trash, things that women DO notice because we’ve been conditioned to notice. If you want to be an equal partner, you

“Presenting as” is pretty typically code for a transgender person appearing to be a certain gender, so it’s coded in LGBT verbiage, but I could see it being your way as well.

Who in their right mind puts Pine below Pratt? C’mon now.

yes ma’am/sir do you also want pictures of the spider man

speaking as a serious shipper(as in, web sites devoted to couples in my younger days), I don’t understand it either. typically it comes from younger fans who tie their entire identity into the existence of a couple and when that identity is challenged they tend to react rather violently. But I don’t know how it gets

So? The most people who live in America can’t trace their roots back to the American Revolution but they still feel pride.

Why is anyone proud of their heritage? I don’t know. Why are Americans proud of the American revolution?

The one thing you will never, ever be able to pry from a Texan(maybe even more so than guns) is pride. And the Texas Revolution is a huge point of pride(IMHO rightfully so, but that’s subjective) to the vast majority of Texans, and so getting us to stop talking about it is like asking Trump to stop tweeting.

What do you mean?! The Mexicans are clearly gonna build the wall on their side of the border!

I’m...okay with this. Kinda not digging the implied jabs at Texas for the Revolution, but whatever. Texas history is absolutely fascinating, no matter which side you come down on.

Makes sense. Night owl here, always saw blue and black. Took me forever of straining weirdly to understand how people saw white and gold.

Intellectually, I understand why apps start out on the App Store instead of Google Play, but it is annoying to be a part of the largest OS market and still not get a ton of apps :/ Would love to try Tip Yourself, but I’ve been around long enough to know “we’re working on an android app” is code for “it might happen

Is that the name of the app?

Acorns is free for students with an .edu email. I had signed up up but had to cancel when I discovered my bank wasn’t listed and it was functionally useless for me.

You know, I hadn’t thought about kid pix in ages. Now I need it.

Yeah, it’s quite annoying that it’s all about (men’s) dress shoes, (men’s) suits, (men’s) underwear, etc. etc. None of those can be finagled to accommodate (most) women.

WRT a T-shirt with a crew, modifying the neckline would require a lot more than my simple hand-stitching skills can muster. But you are certainly correct.

Until men’s shirts are stretchy like most women’s shirts and can accommodate fluctuations in size like women’s shirts...oh, and tailoring is a hell of a lot cheaper, this really isn’t a great life hack.

Glad someone mentioned this; I cannot wear crew necks of any kinds thanks to the way my particular anatomy chokes me with the collar.

Probably because the perpetrators of deadly domestic violence see it as a form of punishment, often for daring to leave the abusers. Punishment is best when seen by as many as possible to really drive it home.
