the capital sentencing process that the statute provides is constitutionally inadequate in practice...The results of the jurors’ good-faith grappling with the law—arbitrary, biased, and erroneous death verdicts—are intolerable as a matter of due process and proportional punishment.

I oppose the death penalty only because I worry about innocent people being executed. It annoys me that guys like Roof have no problem taking other people’s lives while being concerned for their own. He wants to live but didnt care that his victims wanted to live also.

I mean, they’re probably not wrong. The death penalty sure seems like cruel and unusual punishment to me and to a number of Supreme Court justices over the years, although the official word from on high is that capital punishment is permissible under the 5th Amendment.

I hate it when racist murdering assholes make me agree with them.

This one is better, because when you're done, you're looking at a kitty! 😸

And so Casey’s Turing Test begins.

Casey, prove you are not a bot by responding to this.

“Pete Jones, John Gulager, Patrick Melton and Marcus Dunstan are just a few of the PGL alums who’ve gone on to do great things in Hollywood...” Four men. Whatever could the problem with this show have been?

Netflix is a good fit for them. Too bad Matt has to be a part of the deal, he doesn’t make me ever want to watch it again. Based on all his excuses and bs about diversity, I don’t think he learned anything from Effie Brown.

Please tell me Effie was the one to tell them it was canceled....Please tell me Effie was the one to tell them it was canceled....

Yeah, Shia was already a veteran by the time he was in that movie. He’d be where he is without it.

Especially now that we’ve seen what Matt Damon is like. He’s not there to break down barriers, just make himself look good and he’s not proven very good at that either.

I really don’t know why. They never found their Kelly Clarkson. No one of note was launched by the show, except maybe Shia LaBeouf and I think he had that Disney(?) show before he worked on Project Greenlight.

The idea behind the show was great, but a show about breaking down the barriers that keep people out of Hollywood maybe shouldn’t be run by two white male studio darlings? :)

Pfft... I’m not sad to see it go. That last season was so infuriating. Matt Damon’s tone deaf approach to diversity is simply not going to fly in Hollywood anymore. White privilege sit down.

It’s actually even worse than that. At least providing dressing on the side and cleaning appliances is valuable work that fees people and keeps their risk of exposure to bacteria down. Gulager and Dunstan are connected to such important works as _Piranha 3DD_, _Feast III: The Happy Finish_, and _Saw 1,000,0000: The

Pity, the idea behind the show was great.

Oh no! NOW how are mediocre filmmakers going to get their thinly veiled autobiographical stories and Tarantino ripoffs made?

More like Project Redlight, amirite?
