Please stop breathing life into bullshit by publicizing this stuff.
The Velocipede should definitely be the name of the upcoming mid-engined Hyundai Veloster.
Sorry, I missed that. I insta-scrolled once I saw the terrible BMW recommendation.
Georgia: the NEW Florida
How did everyone miss the obvious choice? RWD? Convertible? Back seat? Auto? California? Find a Wrangler that meets your budget as your first “California car”. You’ll meet all sorts of like-minded Jeepy people. It’s not an easy vehicle, but it’s probably an experience unlike any other for you to enjoy at least for a…
I thought it was ironic that I was reading an article I found on Gizmodo that complained of having to manually unplug things. You’d think I was on LiveLuddite.com or something.
I like your list, but the clicks make me feel dirty :(
This was my first game console, also. I recall preferring Atari, but you get what you get. And yes, in comparison, it was terrible. The voice thing was fun for a minute. The only game I recall was a land-the-rocket-on-the-landing-pad thing. The programmers didn’t even give the rocket a ceiling, so you could launch the…
I picked up a 360 cam and a VR headset to document a trip to Mammoth CA and Yosemite (and later, a maybe once-in-a-lifetime trip to Alaska). Rented a convertible Mustang and stuck the camera out in the airstream. Got back and couldn’t wait to see some driving footage from the Panamint Valley, and elsewhere. Had to…
My observation: used car prices down about 5%. New car prices are no different than they have been. Dealers are in the denial stage...”I know what I have”. Deferred payments? 70+ month 0% financing? Puh-lease. It seems it will take a few more months of no sales for them to reach acceptance.
He knows what he has, Tom. And based on my observations of prices before and after Coronageddon, dealers are still of that mindset. Listed used car prices have moved downwards just a bit...maybe 5%. New car prices, however, haven’t budged.
Throw out that tragic interior and we’ll talk.
This entire article is about people who are making their world far more complicated than necessary.
Put the Volt powertrain in it and I’ll be interested.
Managers tend to be smarter than average, in my experience. They will find a way to manage to ensure employees remain productive. We’re not sending a man to the moon, here. The methods described in the couple books I’ve read on effective management can be performed remotely. Also, activity on company PCs can easily be…
Lesson learned here is that corporations that have office/cubicle workspaces should be REQUIRED to permit work-at-home every day of the week. Then implement some safeguards to prevent companies from being overly invasive in the specific requirements (cameras NOT ALLOWED).
CroZZover. :(
Interplanetary whack-a-mole. Also, the straight edge logo on Mars is both fitting, and hardcore.
Galpin lowballed me on a trade-in by several thousands of dollars. This is on a relatively low-priced vehicle...not a 50K trade-in or something. Woulda been an easy sale had their offer been fair. I walked. Their dealership is known for BS, so Mr. Boeckmann can suck it. I hope his employees find greener pastures.
