Here’s to not washing your hair often. When I first had mine dyed a super pale and high maintenance color I backed off washing but was used to it getting greasy in 2 days, now months later I wash maybe once a week (rinsing other days) and it never gets greasy and is way healthier. I blame Big Shampoo.

I worry that the focus on the Hot Pockets purchase is really deflecting the fact that several people died and the man and several others have now lost their homes and all of their possessions.

Just like when you lose something and even your mom can’t find it. That’s when you know it’s really gone.

Bless her. I don’t think she understands who or what she’s talking about. Or starsigns. Or what makes good hashtags. Or winter.

If it makes you feel any better I share a birthday with my ex-boyfriend. Different year (he’s two years older) same day and I wll now spend the rest of my life knowing this.

If Oprah can’t fix you, you are an irredeemable disaster.

Raise your hand if you spent a solid two minutes or more looking for warped walls and furniture or other evidence of ‘shopping.

Okay.

Remember when we were all still rooting for Lindsay? Yeah, I'm glad that's over.

Totally do it. I just joined because I was in the mixed race category and I knew there was a need for it. While my bf’s brother’s gf has donated to four different people, some people never get called. Even if you never do get the call to donate, it feels good to have that donation card in your wallet. :)

I think you could pretty convincingly argue that all modern-day usage of “ghetto” is racist.

Yeah and they all start their reviews with pretentious, douchey backstories like...

Seriously, you should join the registry with a quickness- especially if you’re mixed race.

Would it ruin the movie for you to know that Plummer hated it? Dude’s crazy. This movie is everything. Even my husband choked up a little. This is my heavily tattooed husband whom I’ve never seen actually cry in 12 years together, which includes episodes of depression, our wedding, and the births of two children. Two

This is good information. Also, tell your family members that, should something happen to you, you want to be an organ donor. Sounds a bit grim, but the next of kin pretty much has the final say as to whether you help save a life after yours is gone, so make sure he/she knows that you want to donate and that you’re

I’ve been on the registry for over 5 years, have not been contacted. They need people of color, like crazy need them on the registry.

On a related note: I know it sounds grim, but folks, put your name down on your driver’s license as a donor. Speaking as the child of someone who got an extra five years of life due to generous strangers, you can’t imagine how treasured and valuable these donations are.

DO IT. I’ve been on the bone marrow registry for like 6 years ( to donate not because I need it) and have never been matched or asked to donate. I would like to be matched so that I can actually help someone but at least I can vaguely say I’m kind of sort of maybe being a good person? (For once?)

Nope. You regenerate bone marrow, you can’t regenerate a kidney if your remaining one fails for any reason down the road. Donating a kidney to a stranger truly is an admirable act, but not one to be undertaken lightly.

Great work Virginia! Now on to ending homelessness for all.
