I'd be pretty happy if they just left the whole thing alone. The finale is haphazard and accidental, but it kinda works. No matter whether they won the battle, the war was already lost for the main characters. Better to leave them there, rather than try and awkwardly put everyone back together 10 years later.

This was some of the early screening hype for 'Man of Steel' that somehow "leaked" out of Warner Bros. in 2013:
-Imagine a Nolan story with Snyder effects/action.
-It’s the best movie of the year.
-There’s TONS of action with Superman kicking all kinds of ass in his suit.
-The cape is CG’d most of the time so it can look

I guess 2012 would have been a pretty rough storm for the couple to weather. Scully spends 20 years of her life travelling to parts of the country that look suspiciously like Vancouver, gives up her career, goes on the run. And after all that, December 22 rolls around and zero aliens.

I mean, this is an interesting video. I always get a kick out of seeing how much more there is to filmmaking than simply pointing a camera at stuff. But the ultimate point of the video rings hollow. CGI is only bad when used badly? Well, yeah. Practical effects aren't perfect? Sure.

The MWOF before this was a Secret Success (The Counselor). Also there was his write-up of the Gathering of the Juggalos. So I guess the answer to both questions is…yes?

Maybe she will show up again in the first 10 seconds of MI:Dark Vengeance, or whatever random two-word combo they opt for next time.

Remember when Fox decided that all their shows had to be musicals one week to celebrate Glee or whatever? So all the Fringe agents had to sing and dance? And I think House did too?

Doesn't Michelle Monaghan show up at the end of 'Ghost Protocol', or did I imagine that?

Does 'Glee' count? It's not my thing, but it was successful.

Sometimes your worst self…is your best self.

She's right! But not really for the reasons she articulated!

I remember first seeing Angel on a country TV station while I was on holiday. The reception was terrible, but I was bored as hell. I'd watched the first two and a half seasons of Buffy before its timeslot changed and it became harder to keep track of.

Exactly.

These aren't going to be super-popular opinions, but anyway…

I'm not up to date with this show, but it seems like the biggest problem with this show is the same one that afflicts so many similar shows/movies/whatever - a belief that a powerful AI will necessarily look, act and feel the same as we do. Shouldn't there be computers and stuff that are way more powerful and

I had just turned 18 when this came out, and I knew even then that I was too old for it.

I hope they address the Lone Gunmen's standalone adventures. "Remember that time that we stopped 9/11, which was actually a US government plot?" "Oh yeah! Good times."

Weird time to have members of the Muppets playing Confederates in a Civil War movie…

I know the Emmys are a mediocre barometer of quality, but this is a pretty good example of why broadcast dramas don't get nominated.
