Every weekend (including this one!) I go to local car shows with my dad (Larz Anderson Auto Museum near Boston). I guess that’s how I really got into cars in the first place: seeing all the incredible vehicles come up. And every single weekend it’s with my dad.

Just watch the YouTube live stream. It’s free, and yeah it only has onboard view of the Ford GTs but it has ZERO lag, no channel-changing, and the radio is wonderful. And 720p!

YES!! That should be a thing. I propose that we crazy-ass Jalops make all the crazy-ass racing series ideas realities – your idea, Mitsubishi Mirage-only series, etc – and make them all into the WJC (World Jalopnik Championship).

I don’t know how to feel about this. Yeah it’s pretty awesome but one of the appealing things to me about the Type 1 is that it’s air-cooled. Simpler, lighter, badasser. I dunno, the whole water-cooling thing kinda ruins it psychologically for me.
