It's at least as good, in my opinion. I also noticed they didn't even try to make this episode funny in any way, unlike "There is not currently a problem". It's all so serious that the last part in the car feels really uplifting, and I liked that.

Every storyline was riveting. If there's a running theme it's that Joe's keeping people in the dark always leads to their perdition. I can't see Ryan getting out unscathed from what he did.
The meeting scene was amazing. It's the confrontation we've all been waiting for for half the season. it's the kind of episode

Who? I only care about scripted TV beards.

A beard is ALWAYS better. A BEARD IS ALWAYS BETTER. A BEEEEAAAAARD (starts melting down)
I love beards.

I cried. RIP Frank's beard. The painful howl I uttered when he shaved was heard by my roommates and neighbors.

That twist, I called it from the very first time we saw Jianyu; why did the camera linger on him amongst all the other characters if he was just going to be a supporting character? It was so obvious! But I'm still liking it.

I was really into the first episode. I loved how streamlined and restrained it seemed compared to the absolute bullshit of previous seasons. Unfortunately as soon as the husband saw the two sisters kill that old lady, I knew AHS was just back to its old ways. We're already back to characters having scary and violent

That's what I thought at first but I think it was just a misdirection- that would have been a little too obvious. I think the fact that it worked with Cameron proves the radio does work.

Such a brilliant ending. It's so good when you understand exactly what and why the characters are doing what they're doing, especially someone as opaque as Joe. This show has improved so much since the first season, it should win more awards than just for its amazing opening credits!

Anna from Frozen is, indeed, such a bitch.
All jokes aside now that I think about it, you're right. It seems that her dry humor and personality in Veronica Mars just translated to "mean person" in every following role, which is too bad, because she's capable of much more.

Wow, the second part of the episode was really tragic. I never thought I'd ever feel empathy for Max but this was really sad.
At least he got to hook up with Colby Keller!

Giving that much importance to Gordon's health really works; every single scene he's in I kept expecting him to faint or have a heart attack, even his most triumphant ones. I'm scared he's not going to make it past this season, even if the show is renewed.

I think they left it ambiguous on purpose. Anyone who doesn't really watch SU wouldn't have caught it while faithful viewers have to have thought about it given how often queer relationships are referred to in the show.

I'm watching it right now, haven't read the review yet. I love how the camera turns to reveal a big giant fire even though the characters didn't acknowledge it at all before its revealed. It both shows how they no longer care about it, but it's always hilariously jarring.

I rewatched it, completely randomly, last night too !

It reminds me of the hilarious Oruchuban Ebichu show… It's more graphic, sexual and disgusting, but it's a similar juxtaposition of cute character, cute voice and just plain weird deadpan humor.

Yael and Coleman's death was so predictable. During Rachel and Jeremy's scene I almost thought Rachel was purposely manipulating Jeremy into killing them as it seemed really unsubtle.
I'm happy the show within the show ended the way it did. Ruby was always the most interesting and developed contestant and the chemistry

I was so sure Mr. Robot had Gideon killed I expected the phone call to be from the guy in the bar who shot him saying something like "it's done". What happened is definitely better, but I'm so damn sad they killed him. I'm gonna miss his beard.

Up? I don't think Up is a comedy? It's more of an adventure movie with funny moments.

I yelled "Yay" when Scott Pilgrim appeared in the list. My tastes in movies need validation apparently.
