While we all enjoy being peanut gallery martial artists, saying 'strike throat/knee/eyes/kidneys/any other soft tissue that is not groin' is fine for any of us trained to actually, well, fight. On the other hand, the average Jane isn't going to know much more than 'kick groin, run screaming'.
Well, to be fair, these moves aren't meant to be used against someone with actual martial arts training, because at that point unless you're also trained, you're SOL.
