Sure, none of those things might have happened. But if she really really wants them to have happened it’s the same thing.

Much in the way Pitch Perfect went from rom-com about a college singing group to stunt-laden spy drama by film three.
On the contrary I think just go for it.
I thought the whole point of the Magic Mike character is that he was trying to get away from the party boy lifestyle and grow up.
Here’s the thing though, Shyamalan’s movies weren’t commercial failures, they were commercial successes. There’s this story that goes around that because most of his movies sucked and everyone talked about it that they must have lost money. They didn’t. Many of them were fantastically profitable. The Happening made…
Ron DeSantis looks like a human rectangle.
I guess Floridians forgot that after early days when things went pretty well, they got cornholed a few months down the line while the hippie masked-up states were improving.
A seven-year-old quote from Whoopi, a C-list socialite/model who was associated with Kanye West, Wiz Khalifa, and 21 Savage, and the woman who married Tommy Lee, Kid Rock, Jon Peters, and Rick Salomon don’t convince you otherwise? (To be clear, Pamela Anderson is/was treated atrociously, and seems like a very good…
I’m loving the unintentional, totally unselfaware comedy of a Jezebel writer saying “Not everyone is that online.”
To quote someone else, saying “I do my own research” is code for “I have done zero research whatsoever”.
One thing that is for sure is that The Last of Us is getting one of the more intense media pushes I can remember, especially for a genre TV show. Which I guess is the point. They seem to have sent the screener to everyone, because freaking everyone is writing multiple articles about it.
A truly massive number of prominent right-wing media figures are Hollywood rejects. It’s almost as if these are simply people desperate for attention, and want it however they can get it.
When the bank sent out a test email to 400,000 students, the results were “disastrous.” More than 70% of the emails were undelivered, and only 1.1 perfect were actually opened...
I thought the whole point of Magic Mike 2 (and Magic Mike 1) for that matter were supposed to be that Channing Tatum has dreams beyond stripping?
“There were some very personal things happening that the public had no idea about, and there were great frustrations that grew while there were basically backroom deals being struck.”
AKA the Wonder Years effect.
True Lies is streaming, or at least it was a month or two ago when I watched it. FWIW Pump Up the Volume was also streaming last summer.
Pump Up the Volume is an awesome movie with one of the great 90s soundtracks. It was available for streaming up until a few months ago - can’t remember which platform, but I watched it last summer.
+1 on this. Everything that happened in the past was great. Everything in the present was like watching bad amateur theater. Which, I guess it was.
Counterpoint: I thought the “everything blows up” episode of The Bear was its worst. I didn’t find any of the characters’ reactions to what was going on believable - everyone goes from zero to 10 to 100 and beyond in a blink of an eye, in a way that didn’t follow emotionally. People don’t get that crazy that fast,…
