You’re grossly overestimating the weight that a hybrid system adds to a car. The Prius weights like 3100lbs. Which is slightly more than what it’s smaller platform mate, the Scion TC, weights, but it’s a four door hybrid hatchback instead of a two-door coupe.

1st gear: Market saturation. Everyone who wants one, has one. People now keep their vehicles an average of what, 6 or 7 years? Extrapolate your next sales spike from that.

CP. I just picked up a decent running ‘77 CB750k for a grand, have only put like $200 of parts into it, and now it is a solid runner with over twice the HP of the 350.

Got a Craigslist tip on NPOCP. Bucket list, checked.

I hate this. I love old CBs (I have two in my garage) but $2000 is too high for this one. Fixed up, trimmed, tuned, and running well this bike is worth around $2000, but not as it currently sits. Sadly, a reluctant CP vote from me, which is a shame because that paintjob is killer.

Man, I haven’t seen a sissy bar like that since.. uh.. 3rd grade?

I dunno. NASCAR fans are so right up Target’s alley. I like target and all but their true base are the “People of WalMart” who think they’re slightly too good for WalMart, which incidentally is what makes up most of Nascar’s hardcore base.

Voted NP, because...

Yeah, you probably have to include some kind of Hawaii factor in the price. NP on that basis.

Wow, this is like waking up to Jalopnik morning wood.

Because having them sell their own cars is basically them putting a monopoly on their product. Want to get a Tesla at a better price from a different Tesla dealer? Too bad, because they’re the same price everywhere. Didn’t like the service you got at a certain Tesla store and want to try another dealership? Too bad,

because they are too stupid for their own good. The dealership model exists for a reason, not just for the dealers. Dealerships pay tons of money to manufacturers, which manufacturers can use to actually make cars, unlike Tesla, which always has massive delays making cars people order never mind coming out with new

whoah, whoah there, I just had to get rid of my Passat because of a call like that man, trigger warnings

Yeah, I think the first SUV (even though the current Explorer is a crossover) to be offered as pursuit capable, was the Tahoe.

The number 1 reason why this is CP, is because these conversions are inherently terrible. They’re almost always shoddily put together.

Not sure if rare means desirable in this case. This is a $3000 vehicle in this condition. Not sure what about the conversion makes it worth twice that? Maybe because they stopped making VCR’s this month?

I had a clever picture to go with this comment, but I couldn’t find the floppy it was on. So I’ll just say it: CP.
