Well, less be accurate here... what they want is to eliminate a controversial critical thinking PROGRAM, not critical thinking per se. And from what I have read, the controversy surrounding that particular program goes far beyond Texas, it involves Europe and even Australia.

Yep, its companies copying the crap out of each other instead of being creative. Take a look at all the clones/remakes/reboots/pop music/retro_everything. People are out of ideas, but not the lust for cash. So they copy whatever is successful.

I disagree, very much, Apple is protecting their legally protected work. If Samsung HAD innovated instead of copying, Apple would've left them alone. Number 4 is a very valid option that Samsung chose not to take.
