i dvred Monsieur Spade, and after last week it automatically started to play the finale on demand. there is a character that just pops up outta nowhere to settle things, but it oddly makes some sense. and it fits the feeling of the era.
there were a few others, but pancakes was the fun nod to the movie for me.

i didnt watch Monk after the first few seasons, but this movie was really good. i dont think they promoted it enough. i recommended it to my folks, who never watched the show, and they really liked it.
this. his delivery was not hitting at all. the swift joke should have been slam dunk, but his flat delivery ruined it. maybe he isnt used to delivering jokes with that structure.
