theres just something about driving those lil rockets thats so fun. it felt superfast with the tiny engine, i cant imagine what it would be like with the vtec.

the literature said that. however, the only way MY x1/9 was designed to be safe is the fact it seemed like they “designed” it to be off the streets and in the shop a few days every other month. the safest car is the one that can’t be on the road...fix it again, tony is not just a joke, but a lifestyle.

i always thought if i got into an accident in my x1/9 it would mean death. empty box up front, engine ready to crush you from the back. basically the only crumple zones were your knees and belly.

omg. this is my dream. seriously. the (second) most fun i have ever had in a car was cornering in my x1/9. do they rent these, because i really wanna try this thing out.

indiana dunes. people from chicagoland would love it.

cracks me up that this happened to 99pi, a podcast originally based on design and design concepts. great podcast, really.

if memory serves, that’s a side effect of steroids...

first car was an x1/9, and i LOVED it...when it ran. i could take corners so fast in that thing, it was unreasonable. pop that top, and its a wonderful day of just driving around.

I think the strategy is to have older generations buy for they younguns as they figure out cheaper, longer cells. As children age, the battery life should improve, and the larger, more expensive offerings should be there for the sales.

i liked the cuts between them talking on the floor. the change in perspective was fun, and im not sure ive seen that before. usually its people lying in bed together and the vertical orientation is what sells the framing. here, they also flipped one one speaker.

i laughed when i read him tweet “other much better car companies are coming into the US...” basically, “GM, your cars suck, please keep building them here.”

who was Ed Begley Jr. in this analogy?

will it start in damp weather?

Now playing

neighbor has an elite150 because jim mcmahon.

i will be the first to admit i thought the original labo sounded stupid. but then my son wanted a set. before we knew it, he was playing a small keyboard he made. not just hammering keys, but actually reading music and playing short songs like happy birthday. he was stuck to the labo kits for a few weeks, but over

punish? maybe. expel? never! we wouldnt be able to profit from their enrollment and housing!

whats the mpg on this thing? if it were available a year ago today, i would be looking at it. went civic hatch over the mazda3 and crosstrek. everytime i see a crosstrek i think i should have gotten that, but then i look at the milage i get on the civic hatch...

the most anachronistic thing would be if this movie doesnt highlight a B&W Apple PowerBook 5300 to help save the world.

the beginning of This Is It sounds like a michael jackson song.

fsd will severely impact roadside motels and the hotel industry, especially if they ever find a way to get on-the-move charging. you could conceivably climb into your car at 10pm, sleep on the road, and arrive at your destination the next morning.
