While your anger is justifiable (I voted for Hillary and still don’t understand how this happened), I would suggest now might be a good time to reflect. Hillary was a deeply flawed candidate. There are lessons to be learned here. What those are... I’m not sure. But perhaps patronizing those that didn’t vote for

But I don’t want to go sifting through Youtube and various league websites to watch highlights. I want them all neatly packaged in one place, on my tv, and narrated by smart, irreverent anchors. Its something ESPN used to do well. Now they show a 15-second highlight followed by 5 minutes of four dumb, ex-players

Highlights + smart, irreverent anchors = $$$

The funny part is they sacrificed highlight shows for talking head shows under the assumption that people just watch highlights online. But in actuality, I would watch a show that did extended highlights from the days game (like 3-4 min per game instead of the 15 sec highlights they show now). I don’t want to listen

Universal

Not exactly.

Nah. Fuck that guy. He didn’t earn any respect from anyone.

They really do need a clock. This type of play is a joke.

Dear god, please don’t! Just make it a 15 yard penalty and be done with this inane rule.

I don’t buy this argument. The teams and quality of play are not radically different. Every year there are a handful of good teams. A handful of bad teams. And a large slightly below-average to slightly above-average middle.

I know it’s twitter and the video is embedded, but I find it strange that the writer omits words in the quote without proper formatting/citation.

Here’s hoping he plays out of his mind and walks out on this shitty franchise.

No. Vilifying an entire generation (who have yet to flex their governing authority) is counterproductive and without merit. If you think the millennial demographic is extreme left-leaning perhaps instead of blaming them you should do some self-reflection on what pushed them there. It is your generation who has been

I simply don’t see it. How are the Steelers, Falcons, Broncos, Seahawks, Patriots, and Vikings not Super Bowl caliber teams? They all either have top tier offenses or defenses. And I didn’t even include the Packers and Cowboys who look really good.

Disagree 1000%. The skill level is the same (if not dramatically better). Its like when people complain about QB play today and act like every team in the 90s had a Pro Bowl caliber QB. That simply isn’t the case.

the millennial scum

Counterpoint. The quality of play has always been this garbage. The game is just different now. No celebrations. No big hits. More commercials. Longer games.

“You see, we like our Nazis in uniform. That way we can spot ‘em. Just like that.”

Agreed. In their attempt to be first, most of their stories come out lukewarm.

Funny, because it was the Bush administration that wasn’t content with decimating 80% of Al-Qaeda forces, humiliating and forcing their leadership to go into hiding. Nope. They had to invade Iraq as well, completely destabilizing the area and swinging the tide of support back in the extremists favor.
