Nintendo is talking to the generation with money, the ones who are in their 30s-40s who were coming up when these games were just released. The ones who would remember the original advertisements. The ones who are most likely to buy a nintendo product for their kids because they don’t buy into the whole Call of Halo…

I notice a lot of people ridiculing the puppets from the event, which is funny because it was an awesome homage to their original marketing campaign. Mostly people too young to remember.

Its old Dark Souls “pvp ettiquette” because the Invader couldn’t heal, so when people dueled they didn’t as well. Since the majority of loud mouth forumers were DS1 PVPers they try to enforce it in all the games, even though each game has much different mechanics.
