That was my reaction as well. Not an EMT, but everything I was taught about first aid and such was to leave the person in place unless doing so presented a large danger than moving them.

Sunrise at the Grand Canyon is my favorite. I can’t imagine not being awestruck by the way that suns slowly rises over the rim and reveals the peaks and vallies of the Canyon.
In response to #2: please respect that, for a variety of reasons, not everyone can walk quickly across the street. My father may not appear at first to have any issues, but his Parkinson’s makes it difficult. I can’t tell you how many people have honked at him to speed up.
