As someone who is also pushing 35, I took no issue with her age itself. But yeah, she did photograph older than her age and the fashion industry does not like that one bit. For years now that show seems aimed more towards who will make a good reality TV/social media star. Not who will make a good model.

Please do let the door hit you on the ass on your way out.

I know! They chose the woman who once peed on set, did a season of Celebrity Rehab, and always looks manic over Allison and her cool anime eyes? I don't get it either.

There might not be a clause specifically about escorting. But there probably is a clause saying they can disqualify contestants for anything that will make the show and its sponsors look bad. Reality show contracts advantage the producers and network and give the contestants next to no rights. They pretty much own

It was Allison. I liked her and I can't stand Lisa.

America was founded by a group of Christian men.

It's an article about rape and the backlash she is experiencing for talking about her rape. How is chiming in with more backlash appropriate? Jezebel does articles about Dunham all the time. I've criticized her and her show too. I guess I just don't see how it's necessary and appropriate to pile on more backlash

Then what was the point of going on about awful you think she is when the topic is the fact that she's a rape survivor? It's really offensive and not the right time and place.

This is isn't an appropriate place for it. Jezebel and Gawker write plenty of posts about Dunham in which you can criticize her. On a post about rape, it's not okay. It just reinforces the bullshit misogynist notion that 1) women deserve to be raped if they have character flaws and 2) that rape victim is an

I just can't keep up. I thought Anita Sarkeesian was the poster child for feminism.

What does this have to do her with being a rape survivor? Are imperfect women not allowed to discuss their experiences?

What? Seriously? What world are you living in that you think this? Look at the rest of the comments here. There are a whole lot of people implying that Dunham should get no sympathy or that her rape doesn't matter because she isn't perfect. It's the same shit that always happens when a woman talks about her rape.

The reason so many rape victims are reluctant to report is that they are often treated horribly. They're blamed. They're not believed. They're even sometimes ostracized and bullied by peers.

That's a good conclusion to draw in any situation really.

Because it's Lena Dunham's fault that unscrupulous media outlets doxxed someone who didn't even fit the description of the rapist that well. Women are so evil that we cause other people to do bad things. We're like demons that possess innocent men.

Because male insecurity is so much worse and so much more important than the trauma of being sexuality assaulted. Ugh. Some people will just find any excuse to make it all about them.

To me, a front butt has always meant something else. It's when someone has a stomach so large it fold up and you can see what looks like a butt crack under their clothes.

A lot of British people don't give a shit about the royals. I don't know we're expected to!

Ruin the snarky fun why don't you!

It's not just you. I thought the same thing.
