I always wonder how so many adults can't grasp child level etiquette. I'm pretty sure kindergarten class is about when I started learning about respecting personal space. Maybe it's bad parenting. My mom was pretty strict about me behaving politely in public, at family gatherings etc.

Fat is a body type, not a rude behavior. Skinny or medium size men can control whether or not they spread their legs into someone else's space.

What right do you have to encroach into other's personal space and make them uncomfortable so you can be more comfortable? I have big boobs and they get all smushed and sweaty in the summer. Yet I still manage to not prop my boob up on the shoulder of the person sitting next to be. Guess what? You don't always get

It's also profoundly uncomfortable both physically and mentally to have some dude's leg smushing you. I don't give a fuck if you're uncomfortable. Stay in your portion of the seat. Don't encroach into other's personal space.

The first two letter writers seriously need to cut those friends out of their lives. People who are racist and people who are rude to service employees are the worst kind of people. They don't deserve friends. Life is too short to waste time being friends with awful people who sooner or later will direct their

The designers don't need to change anything I don't think. Target just needs to order a wider variety of sizes from the manufacturer. They just need to make the same thing in bigger sizes. No one is saying the designers have to also create a separate plus size collection.

I can't wear anything anywhere because there is no clothing made for big boobs ever.

Top notch post Lindy. I had the same exact reaction. Nothing more even needs to be said.

Yay!!! Thanks!

I don't know. They tend to universalize their own boner preferences and probably can't imagine that there are men who like short haired women.

Misogynists always think it's brutally oppressive any time their boner is sad. Short hair as misandry is actually a terrifyingly common sentiment in the manosphere.

Literally the only time I've read Thought Catalog is when Gawker or Jezebel is making fun of a particularly stupid article. If it wasn't for GM I wouldn't even know the site exists I don't think.

It never ceases to amaze me that so many employers don't realize that happy, healthy, well rested employees who are treated with respect by their employers will be more productive and loyal.

I'm willing to give it a little time, but we'll see if the promise to be inclusive actually holds.

Hopefully now that I've been taken out of the greys for this thread replying will ungrey you too. I'm still confused so it's an experiment.

I guess the trolls are throwing tantrums because they can no longer run free in the comments sections.

That sucks. I'm glad it wasn't worse and you're pretty much OK though.

Aww. Thanks!

Yes! I'm already noticing a drastic reduction in the number of comments on posts. It looks like a lot of people are like me and are not sure they want to bother with this place if they can't be part of the conversation.

But hey, they didn't kill anymore darkies so good on them!
