I'm not on any hormonal BC and don't keep track of my period usually. I know my body so well that I can tell when my period is imminent and they don't arrive like clockwork every 28 days. They often come earlier than that. What's the point of memorizing dates when my body is a better judge than the calendar?

I hate the word normal when it's used to describe bodies. Women come in many shapes and sizes and I want more body diversity in the media (Christina Hendricks is literally the only famous woman I can think of with my body type and that sucks), but we're so varied that to call any shape not normal is just ridiculous.

I'm a towering 5'5! Living in Minnesota around tall Scandinavians, Germans and East Africans I always feel so short. It's always a little hard for me to believe I'm taller than average. To me tall is 5'8 and up for a woman.
