Any comment on the internet can be true or can be fake. Most of the time we'll never know. However, these kinds of stories ring true because they match up with real life experiences. It doesn't matter all that much if it's true, it's a jumping off point for conversation.

Nobody is trying to police your food choices. You can eat what you want without making up a "sensitivity." My body feels like crap if I eat too much red meat. That doesn't make me a special snowflake, it just means I don't eat it more than one meal a week, two tops.

I threw up after eating White Castle burgers as a kid. Haven't touched them since. The thought makes me queasy. I've thrown up after eating different foods without having this happen. I'm not sure why the WC in particular had this effect.
